Over 20 years ago, Rusty Ramage and his old softball buddies gathered to play golf for his birthday. A reunion, if you will! However, an opportunity arose to help a fellow friend who became ill. So, instead of drinking beer and hanging out this group of dedicated guys got together and raised money to help their friend.  In doing so, they created what we all know and love... the Spiders' Charity Golf Classic.

Fast forward to today, after many recipients and over half a million dollars donated, the organization has now transitioned into a new generation. Christopher and Tras Ramage decided to continue their father's legacy, and raise money for local families using the same core values they have known their entire life... pride, heart, believe in yourself, and NEVER QUIT.

Although the organization has a different name the heart and soul is still there. Nothing has changed, they don't want it to! So, each year these two brothers along with a dedicated board, committee members, and volunteers will host a charity golf tournament to raise money for a recipient in financial need, for the GHS scholarship fund, and for all the other wonderful things Spiders' has been a part of throughout the MS Gulf Coast community.
